On Saturday, Connor went walking with me and two other candidates as we went door to door introducing ourselves to our community. We walked for about 3 1/2 hours.
Connor: Are you running against these two guys?
Me: No, we are working together to try to all get elected. We are all running for different offices.
Connor: Are you running against anyone?
Me: Yes
Connor: Who are you running against?
I told him the candidate's name.
Connor: Oh, you are going to win easily!
Me: Thanks for your support, but why do you think that?
Connor: Because he has a STUPID name!!
Me: Believe it or not, that is how some people vote.
