You Can't Eat That!

Adriana seems to be fascinated by the way Eric eats right now.  The other day, she was playing with Eric.  She suddenly put her finger in Eric's mouth.  Before I could say anything, she started giggling, then she said, "that's not a boob, Eric!  You can't eat that!"

Can You Pee?

The other day I was waiting for Adriana to go potty, and she was only interested in playing with anything she could get her hands on.  I wanted her to focus, so I said, "Adriana, can you pee?"  She said, "No.  It's not working."

It Makes Eric Sick

Eric has a weak stomach, and I have had to cut out dairy to help him out.  Adriana is very good at sharing, and she always wants me to take a bite of her food.  If she is eating something with dairy in it, though, I have to tell her I can't have it.  It didn't take her long to figure out that it's because it makes Eric sick.  It must be pretty confusing for her though.  How would Mommy eating something make Eric sick?  The other day, I asked her if she wanted a jelly bean.  She said she didn't want orange.  I said ok, and she said, "Adriana can't eat the orange ones.  It makes Eric sick."

Awww...

Adriana is sort of starting potty training.  We are thrilled that she poops on the potty pretty regularly.  Rarely do I have to change a poopy diaper of hers anymore.  Last night, when she finished pooping, she called me in.  She told me it was just a little baby poop.  When she got off the toilet, she turned around, looked at her poop, and said, "awww...it's a little baby."  I'm sure she'll love this story when she's about 14.
