Elizabeth had a baby girl on September 11. The boys, Brandon and I went around our neighborhood a few week after Adriana was born to sell popcorn for Cub Scouts. We stopped at a house where we know the couple pretty well and they invited us in. As we haven't seen them for quite some time, they were spending some time getting to know the boys a little. The wife asked which one of the boys acts the most like Brandon. I said they all act like Brandon in some ways, but Quentin probably the most.
I then told her that Elizabeth had a baby girl and showed her a picture. Connor explained that the baby looked a little like a boy because she just had a green t-shirt (onesie) on. I said she had that on because I was there and the shirt says "I heart Grandma" Quentin got a little quiet and we kept talking.
All of sudden, Quentin got very close to me and looked right in my eyes and said "Who is her grandma?" I said "I am."
He said "oh" and looked very thoughtful.
I asked him the next day if it is ok for him to share his grandma with Adriana. He said "sure"
