On August 11, a stage blew down at our state fair. Several people were killed and injured and the event made national news. This morning, on the news, they said something else about it.
Connor: Are you kidding me...are they still talking about the stage collapsing?
Me: Yes they are.
C: It happened on August 11 and today is August 25. Are they ever going to stop talking about it?
Me: Well, there are still people recovering and some people have died in the last couple of days.
C: Seriously...they are going to be dead forever. Do we have to hear about it the rest of our lives?
(He should have been around when Diana died!!)
