I Don't Want the Pee

Last night, I was making a couple of eggs for my supper and Zeke decided he wanted eggs, too. I asked him if he wanted scrambled and he said "No. Yogi eggs" (over easy)

So I made him two "yogi" eggs. He sat down at the table and I was cutting the white part off the yolk so he could eat the white part first. While I was cutting, I knicked the yellow part and the yolk started running out.

Zeke said "I don't want the pee."

I was startled and said "what?"

He said "I don't want the pee."

I said "I don't know what you mean. What are you talking about?"

He pointed at the yolk running out on the plate and said "there...I don't want the pee"

The Baby's Gotta Pee?

The other day, I picked Connor up at school then went to Jessica's to pick up the other two boys. On the way to Jessica's Connor and I were listening to the radio and "Sounds Like Life to Me" came on. The first part of the song played...

"Sara's old car's 'bout to fall apart and the washer quit last week. We had to put Mama in the nursing home and the baby's cuttin' teeth"

Connor acted startled and said "WHAT...the baby's gotta pee!?!?!?!?"

Hoarder

The boys were all telling Mom good night on Friday night. Quentin was waiting for "his turn" and while waving his hands around to show the room, he said to Mom, "You know, if you look around your room, it's like you're a hoarder"

I don't think she heard him because there was no reply

Urinal

We were leaving school the other day and Connor decided he had to go to the bathroom before we got in the car so he went into the restroom they always use at school. Zeke decdied he needed to go too so I asked Connor to help him.

They went in together, but Connor came out first. He said "I can't help him because he won't listen. I told him he can't use the UNIRAL"

Shake it

The other day, the boys and Brandon were leaving my office when Zeke said he had to go potty. Quentin said he would go, too. So we went into the public bathroom so they could potty. We got done and went out on the sidewalk to wait till Brandon was done doing whatever he was doing in the car.

Quentin said "You know how boys stand up to pee"

I said that I did know that.

He said "You know they don't use toilet paper then"

I said I knew that too.

Then he said "When boys are done, they just shake the hell out of it"

I'm Only Guessing it Will Be a Girl

Connor was excited about the prospect of a new baby in the family. He decided he would guess at whether it will be a boy or a girl.

He told us all that he thinks it is a girl, but made sure we knew that he was only guessing...he didn't know for sure.

We asked why he thinks it will be a girl and he said "I think my dad got all the wieners that were available"

Short Hair Long Hair

I am going to have another grandchild in about 7 1/2 to 8 months. This time it will be my daughter's child. She was telling my 5-year-old grandson about it and he seemed excited, but didn't want to talk much so he handed the phone over to his 6-year-old brother.

While Connor was talking to his aunt (Butbo) about the new baby, the subject of boy or girl came up and Quentin overheard Connor ask about boy or girl. Quentin looked at me and said "so is it a boy or a girl?" I said "We won't know until it is born."

Quentin said "Well, you won't know then either"

I asked why we wouldn't know when it is born. He said "Well, everyone has short hair when they are born. You have to wait till they grow a little and see if their hair gets long or stays short."
